Ingredients Required (Shopping List):

Meat (Beef, Mutton, or Chicken): 500g

Basmati Rice (Soaked for 20 mins): 3 cups (500g)

Onions: 3 medium (thinly sliced)

Tomatoes: 2 medium (thinly sliced)

Yogurt: 1/2 cup (250g) - whisked

Garlic Paste: 2 tablespoons

Ginger Paste: 2 tablespoons

Cooking Oil/Ghee: 3/4 cup (150ml)

H.A.K Sons Biryani Mix: 1 Packet
Cooking Instructions:

Fry: Heat oil and fry the sliced onions until they are golden brown.

Sauté: Add the meat and sauté for 5 minutes on medium heat. Then, add water as needed and cook on low heat until the meat is tender (Note: Water is usually not required for chicken as it cooks in its own juices). Once tender, add tomatoes, ginger, garlic paste, yogurt, and the H.A.K Sons Biryani Recipe Mix. Sauté for another 10–15 minutes.

Boil Rice: In a separate pot, add 12 glasses of water and 3 tablespoons of salt. Add the soaked rice and boil until it is 3/4th cooked (one string/ek kani), then drain the water.

Layering & Dum: In a large pot, layer the prepared meat curry and the boiled rice. Add food coloring (Zarda rang) as desired. Cover tightly and cook on high heat for 5 minutes, then simmer on low heat for 10 minutes (Dum).
Serving Suggestion:
Gently mix the layers before serving. Enjoy your delicious Biryani with fresh salad and raita.
